Data Deletion Policy

1. Purpose

This Data Deletion Policy outlines how PADU NETWORK handles requests for the deletion of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Malaysia. It explains the rights of individuals (“data subjects”) to request deletion of their personal data and our responsibilities in responding to such requests.

2. Individual Rights

Under Malaysian data protection law, individuals have the right to erasure, also known as the “right to be forgotten.” This right enables individuals to request the deletion or removal of their personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.

3. When Does the Right to Erasure Apply?

As stipulated by the PDPA, the right to have personal data erased and to prevent further processing applies under the following circumstances:

  • The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed.

  • The individual withdraws their consent for data processing.

  • The individual objects to the processing and there is no overriding legal ground to continue.

  • The data was unlawfully collected or processed.

  • The personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.

4. What Information Does PADU NETWORK Retain?

PADU NETWORK stores user data solely for operational purposes, including the generation of recycling reports and communication with users.

We may retain the following types of personal data:
